Phuket

Phuket is Thailands biggest island. It is connected to the mainland by the Sarasin bridge. Phuket is Surrounded by a lot of smaller islands and has a great coastline to offer. It is on of the most popular destinations world wide. Especially watersporters are in the right place over here. We define some must sees on Phuket for you:

  • Waterfalls and beaches: The most beautiful waterfalls are in the east of Phuket. 2 of the most beautiful ones are situated in the Khao Prha Thaeo national park; The Bang Pae,is Thailands biggest waterfall and the Ton Sai waterfall Maybe the most beautiful
  • Big Buddha: On the Nakkerd hill between Chaiong and Kata. You can reach it by a six kilometer long street. This statue from Jade Marble is a gift for the 80 st Birthday of king Bhumibol Adulyadej. The marble Shines Beautiful in the sun and can be seen from kilometers far away.
  • Phang nga Bay: Limestone cliffs coming vertically out of the emerald green waters. This place is world famous for its unique landmarks like the James Bond Island. Take a boat or kayak trip and enjoy the crystal clear water, the abandoned white bounty beaches and other secret little Islands.

Ko Samui:

This idyllic island is a true dream in Thailand. Kilometers of white powdery beaches with palm trees are a perfect decor for a luxury holiday. The Island is famous for its nature and is a paradise for divers. Even a month is not enough to discover all the secrets of Ko Samui. Below a few  tips to do:

  • Wat Plai Laem is the most colorful temple of Thailand for sure. It looks like a floating temple because it is build in a pond. around the temple you find 14 religious statues. Near Wat Plai Laem is also Wat Phra Yai. Easy to bring these both a visit in half a day.
  • The Hin Ta and Hin Yai rocks or Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks is a formation of rocks on lamai beach. Two of the rocks show strong similarities to the male and female  genital.
  • Ang Thong National Marine park is a formation of 42 little islands on a two hour boat trip from Ko Samui. Some of the islands aren’t more than a rock formation but there are also some bigger islands with white beaches and a few rows of palm trees. Book a day tour from Ko samui to the islands and bring your snorkeling gear.

Bangkok

Bangkok is the city to visit in Thailand. One of these simple reasons is that all international flights land here. It is a very touristic and big city full of culture. There are lots of temples to visit and the locals are always smiling. Below some tips to visit again.

  • Hua Hin is a little trip to the south. The seaside village is used to flee the busy city of Bangkok. As everywhere in Thailand the beaches here are unbelievably photogenic. Palm trees and white beaches with a blue-green see. Be enchanted, you have to see it!
  • The Floating Markets are a very nice ritual to visit. The Chao Phraya river floats thru Bangkok. This rivers have so side channels called khlong. On these khlong there are some markets to visit. Tiny little boats sell some good products.  
  • Take a food tour: The food is so unbelievable surprising and cheap, it’s difficult to not eat all day true. Take a food tour in bangkok to taste the best local street food and learn something about the rich history of the different neighborhoods.
